For over 40 years, Scott Companies have been involved in the constuction equipment business in the Intermountain West.
Established by D. Brent Scott in 1968 Scott Machinery Company was the authorized John Deere and Hitachi Construction equipment dealer in Utah, Western Wyoming, and south eastern Idaho; growing to 8 locations, 150 employees, and over $100 million in sales. In 2009 the John Deere/Hitachi business was sold to Honnen Equipment Company of Commerce City, CO.
In 1995 the Company acquired Intermountain Bobcat and operates it today as a business unit of what is now known as Scott Intermoutain Companies, which is owned and operated by brothers- David and Jeffrey Scott.
